I'm going to drive Farrar's track hopefully without need of a winch., plus Farrar did mention doing the Rollercoaster run next time.

Yeah think I shall come this Sunday now am all sorted for the mud. Am shore I will b able to do more than I did last a time.

Hopefully be there Sunday- just got to sort rear axle leaking oil- changed hub seals and checked breathers are clear, but still seem to be leaking

NO punches this time at Roundhill Woods, it's just a fun drive around day, Sunday only.

Some ass was trying to nick my defender last night.

No damage they just kept setting off the alarm over and over again. Was in for a service today and land rover said there was nothing wrong with it. Saw someone round it as well live in the middle of nowhere so no one should b about. Going to go get some more security as can't stay up all night again.

Additional security and purchase a gun as a means of scare tactics lol

That'll scare them. Call plod as well and try and get a pic better them locked up than scared off to another landy. Or dig a big hole and use a loud stick

Stumbled across this thread and thought I'd introduce myself. I have usually traveled to find decent lanes (or used local pay and plays). However looks as though you guys are a font of knowledge of local area (I'm Watford based). If your happy for me to tag along would love to see what there is in Herts/Beds.

Yeah well if I had got them I would have def called the plod. Getting a tracker fitted soon though. I did want to use one of those but I have shared ownership of the drive so can't really do that.

Welcome to the mad house.

We meet up in a pub in Dunstable first Wednesday of the month. Everything else is on hear. There are a few of us in Hemel if you ever need a hand with anything.

Hiya Duncan,

We're out and about some of the guys are out this Sunday there is a driveround at Roundhill woods Nr Tring Herts. We have a pub meet every first Wednesday of the month in Dunstable Beds on the A5 which your most welcome to join us bring some maps and mark some lanes down.

There is talk of a laning trip up Nr Wales at some point in the future I think Jan was mentioned.

Greenlaning,
camping weekenders,
Trialling,
Play days,
Local small Punch events,

Next year possibly,

Comp safari
team recovery etc

Last night or more accuratly 2.30 am I found an old Trialling DVD of Huntswood which got my mind more in the mood and I went out form work and removed the steering column from the series 1. Its removed will be sorted and re installed so the drivers wing can finally go on hopefully at the weekend!
