Greenlane Training

I was already looking at some training for newbies on behalf of GLASS, then the article suggesting it as part of a greenlaning initiative was published. The training part has had a lot of support.

So far I have arrange to pilot a half day course on the actual driving side. Based on the professional off road driving qualifications but tailored to laning. Delivered by professional trainers at an appropriate site with insurance.

Next we are looking at what else they might need to know. The following list has been suggested. Does anyone have any other ideas? Also does anyone have any good You Tube links. Good, bad or just beautiful scenery. It might make training session more interesting

I think it's a good idea, sadly far too many go out greenlaning with absolutely no idea how to conduct themselves and are quite clueless as to where they should be in their blind quest for 'MUD' and when you try to advise these fools (either face to face or via social media) all you get back from a lot of them is a barrage of abuse....

Education and legislation gets my vote
