Judging by the videos I think rain is the decider as to how hard going the lane is

Im in Beeston near Long Eaton so not far away.
Will struggle to do Boxing day as I have a family who may be a little upset :)
Your welcome if you want to pop over to little eaton Sunday even if its just for half hour as were gona het our heads together and try and plan something maybe every month pal

My recovery strap turned up today :)

Not going to have time to go recce Moor Lane but we've seen the videos and there hasn't been much rain recently so I reckon it should be an easy run.

See you all Sunday!

There a couple around bawtry which are decent which if any of you would want to try if happily come and show you around my local area :)

Just to make you aware boys.....the lane that runs from Little Eaton to Brackley Gate is green lane......all tracks off the road are private land and if you are seen off the road the police will be prosecuting.

Irresponsible drivers are ruining the area!!

Woodsman121 - welcome to the forum. You sound like you know the area well, have you driven the lane or do you live near there?

I have no intention of straying from the lane or being inconsiderate to any other users of the lane.

I think we might drive it in both directions to get a taste of green laning then have a chat in the pub and consider visiting some of the 12 routes described in the August magazine (which I will have with me). We might decide to meet again next month to go try these other routes and make more of a day of it.

Good fun this morning guys, we really enjoyed it although it was over so quick. As a first time driving on a green lane I was amazed how the Rangie went through the mud and water with ease. Matt get the videos uploaded when you can I would love to watch them.

Certainly was mate looking farward to a planned trip
Felt a bit bad for you matt comimg all this way for such a short outing but hopefully next time will be a bit longer
We all did well though thinking back now was some pretty deep stuff
Be nice to see the vids

I must admit, I did some more Greenlaning near home today :) was fantastic though and really impressed with how my disco just went straight through the mud and water!

Il upload both videos and people can work out what I hit in the water on one of them :)

Videos and a couple of pics

Ha good vids pal favourite bit, "just soak em"
Glad you found a few more lanes mate

Great clips. I guess if you don't know what's under the water you should go slow or you might hit a rock?

If you look back at my second pic on the first page of this thread - that's the sheep dip we go through at the end of your longer clip and the water was up to the top of the small wall so must have been about 2 feet deep in the middle I reckon.

I'll look for some more routes we can try as agreed - might be a few days before I make any suggestions due to work/life etc.

Nice meeting everyone today!
