Green lane little eaton

I have the LRO mag from August 2016 with the Peak district lanes in - will bring it with me. It says the lanes are on "OS Landranger 119 & 110" - they are all around the Buxton area.

Suzuki Vitara? Sounds like Richard Hammond when they had to build police cars on Top Gear. :)
 
Not at all top gear is what sundays are made for especialy specials,
Tow rope ordered and should be here tuesday although its 4m long 2 could be handy, oo im all excited!
 
I've ordered an 8 ton 4 metre recovery strap myself. I'll also try to bring a variety of tools with me just in case including jump leads and an air compressor for inflating tyres.
 
Just been browsing on Trailwise.org.uk there are three lanes slightly to the North in Holbrook:

1. Watering Lane UID SK3644-03
2. Nether Lane UID SK3644-01
3. Wildersley Lane UID SK3546-01

The first two are connected to each other. Might be worth a look if we have time on Sunday

I think you may need to learn how to use trailwise a little better. Wildersley lane is quite clearly shown as illegal to drive and Nether lane is shown as having unknown vehicle rights but a quick look at the OS map shows it as a footpath.
 
Sorry my bad ... Are you registered with trailwise? I can't register as I don't have a "Registration Key". As a guest user it is not very intuitive to use imo
 
Not registered at the moment but have been in the past. As a simple rule of thumb lanes marked in RED are BOATs and should be legal to drive, although there are exceptions as the PDNP have issued TROs on a few BOATs, and lanes marked in BROWN should also be legal. If you click on the lane you should get more details on the vehicular rights. Don't just rely on Trailwise though, good as it is it's not always 100% up to date. You also need to keep an eye on the PDNP's rights of way sections for latest info on lane closures and also on DCC's website for the current status of rights of way and temporary closures http://www.peakdistrict.gov.uk/looking-after/vehicles and https://www.derbyshire.gov.uk/leisu...sure_register/search_the_register/default.asp also DCC's online definitive map http://www.derbyshire.gov.uk/council/partnerships/derbyshire_mapping_portal/
