you only need two wires the 3rds for rev counter, a disco has but defender doesnt

Thanks Mate, I have them wired like that, I had a bit of fiddle with them tonight, Now Battery light comes on when key turned then as soon as engine starts it goes out.
Does this mean that the Alt is charging the battery ?

Couple of more Vids from tonight, first is Without Fan Belt second With Don't think theres any difference.
You can hear the Winding Down Sound in first when I turned it off.

No difference in sound is good, i was thinking the loose pulley might have made a noise
As James said that will be the turbo fan spinning down, it’s the only thing moving, but I don’t know if it should make a noise as I didn’t fit mine, are the turbo oil pipes all connected up

sounds ok to me,air box and hosing will quieten the turbo

Im sure they are all connected.
Got air box and windscreen washer bottle to fit in that space. I have the Square air box from Disco but think some people use the other round cylindrical off Defender, not sure which one to use.

Well Quite happy with engine running now. BUT 1 step forward and 2 back, think that's what the saying is
