Surely youve got an air leak then if the intercooler filled up? I doubt it went through the turbo......

Why do you doubt it? it has to go through the turbo and intercooler to get to the engine and the reason for Snorkles is to stop the water getting into the engine.

Probably kept sucking it through while trying to start it while it was still underwater and Sam kep insisting that the inlet was not undeerwater... :D

I know how the induction system works you tit, but i just cant see it going through the turbo, filling the cooler, and not being forced into the engine...
There wasnt any burning muddy water smell, no masses amounts of steam etc...

No, but lots of muddy **** out the exhaust once it started and there was something in the bores when I took an injector out to check.

I think water did get through, but luckily not damaged anything.

Thats the kit that i brought,

See the thread below for suppliers attitude

http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f16/ok-me-just-startin-wading-kit-119629.html

but ok from that, I did fit it differnt to how i think he intended to, but ised less connections underneth to get pull out/damaged.

I still got to go me gearbox and transfer, so we can do at same time.....

Just had a look at his negative feedback, what a shyster.
I think he can keep his wading kit, might need it being that full of S*±\ don't want him drowning in it after all.

I think I'll be on the look out for another one.

PS once i have it, would be happy to fit them at the same time.

I found some plastic tube in the quarry next to my workshop to use as breather hoses. Only cost a few cable ties.
Boot lace is still holding well on the snorkel too. Gotta love being a pikey.
