Took the 110 for a drive. First right hand turn and a mass of water come in just above passenger door. I think it ran along the gutter and found a route in between the door and roof. Then the dash lights went out and then the radio stopped working (no signal).
I know I shouldn't complain, especially when Geoff has a lot bigger issues, but.... I'm finding this car difficult to love.
Looks OK, but I need one for a 200 tdi (fits on the NS).
Says they sell them but nothing listed on their shop, so I've messaged them.
Would prefer one without an exposed flexible liner but at that price its a no brainer.
Mine does this on the drivers side and drips, well runs all over me leg, you might find the roof window is leaking and it sits on the roof ledge inside then when you brake it all runs down, it's one of those things with a fender they all leak you can try and fix the leaks or like the rest we just live with it you'll get used to it mate
I'll take you up on that offer of a dry work space, got a used pulley on its way and will order up the seal. Im quiet at work next week so can do anytime apart from wednesday morning. You sure you got space, see chris is doing bits to his dont want to get in the way,
there two parcels waiting for me when i got home, happy boy!
cool no problem, if chris has his defender in the workshop still, its running fine so can drive it out and put it back after, next week is cool with me bit hectic this week. ill txt ya
Thanks, I will fit in yourself. If you have things to do next week I can just get on with it if you don't mind me in the workshop by myself.

Might able to help for a few hours.
Give me a bell when you know what day.
Thanks Nick, don't think it's a difficult job just a bit time consuming having to remove rad etc, hardest bit will be getting the pulley bolt out as you have to try and stop crank turning, will have to make something up before hand.
oh dear, snapped a shock earlier today and later on in the day my truck started running lumpy and even slower (like it was mis firing) - popped the bonnet and a strange knocking noise! - so I'm off the road (only had it a bloody day) possibly an injector apparently! had AA man recover me home and now its waiting further investigation...
