Bit of advice from the more mechanically minded regarding crankshaft pulley, probably going to take me a couple of days as I don't have the correct LR tools and will have to make bits to hold and undo all the bolts, take out rad etc borrow a huge torque wrench ( or grow some huge biceps) is it best to bite the bullet and buy a new one, have seen them on eBay for 300 don't know what make, or been offered a used one which will probably be 75 delivered, or take it to indie LR garage to fit genuine one and hand over £700.
If it was me i would probably fit a good second hand one because it would most likely be a genuine part, and they are not really that common to go.
You will also need ERR5992 which is your front seal as it may leak with a different pulley and not worth the risk for how easy it is to change.
If you pick one up and need it fitted feel free to give me a bell and we can fit it down the workshop i have all the tools and dryness you need
I'll be going to see nick about some bits then to Jons to collect a boot floor in Colchester.
What do you need?
Motivation I imagine. Gonna go straight there from a 12 hour night shift lol.
Geoff don't worry about me, even if the Defender is still there it can be driven out to work on yours and put back in after.
