Well after cheating with mikey we think it maybe an issue with the props due to the lift and not the gearbox. Trying to find a wide angle prop

Island 4x4 do them, £125. It's not in the prop section though, you need to do a search but they are on there...
Orderd a new wide angle prop today from glyn Lewis very nice bloke, took loads of measurements from me and said he would not sell me a double cardon as it was not needed for my application, but if wide angle didn't cure my rumble I could return wide angle prop and then he would supply double cardon, but was adamant I didn't need a double cardon as I have not had castor correction, also ordered new wheel bearings and new output bearing so shall be busy this week fitting all me goodies.
I don't know if any of you guys are interested but I have been asked this by my brother. He is a firefighter in Basildon and a few of his colleagues have expressed interest in coming laning one day. Some of them have got 4x4's and would like to bring them, some havent. They are mainly standard I believe so it would be easy lanes, I'm just after a few people to come with us, maybe take a passenger here and there and help drag them through some muddy sections, possibly give them a bit of a scare if we can find somewhere. It's early days and I have no dates/routes set I'm just trying to get an idea of what's what, let me know if anyone may be interested...
When im back on the road i'll take a passenger, how about a day at Bures that should ease them in gently.
I was thinking that, would possibly be better at Essex off road as there's less sand, thing is they want to take theirs around I think and a pay'n'play may be a bit much, I will have to get numbers and vehicles, we may even be able to get the brigades off road tender out to play, long shot but it's been done before (I remember it braking down in a mound of stinging nettles, that one was based on a defender do no surprise there!)
