I will have a word with my bro and see if he can get numbers, it will be a month or two at the earliest as his watch is on weekends for a while so plenty of time to organise something. What about tyres farm? It's a good course as there is a bit of everything and there's a few good lanes in the area...

Ian did you get those lockers off d44 or had they gone.

No the guy didn't reply to me, I sent him my no but nothing, has done me a thou as I was speaking to the mega squirt guys at billing as they build diffs and Pegg them, and they said to go for an Ashcroft locker as they are a lot stronger, but I've got to sort out me vibes first;)

Jon will let you know hopefully what they cost tomorrow when they arrive with the bill:rolleyes:but it was not far off 250 inc delivery but they are decent bailey props.

Graham will give you a bell tomorrow, I did see ya missed call but I've been swamped with cable breakdowns this evening so I had to work for once;)

That make's a change.

Just giving you an update. I took off the front prop & still had the rumble, so now going to take off the back but I think it's coming from the main shaft of the transfer box. It's had the input gear done & tightened up the inter gear, so it's the only one left. It's got a lot of play if you hold the brake drum & turn the front prop flange. It goes from 12 to 2/2.30 & clunks when it gets there. I may be wrong but just feel too much movement for my liking.

Oh ya, I don't need a double cardan :D but at some point will but a wide angle on.

I am considering pulling out the new bearing I just put in, taking out the spacer between bearings and try the tdi set up and see if that makes a difference. If that don't sort it I guess it must be swivels, then as James said when he had a look whip out the thinnest shim.

Have you changed the track rod ends yet? the wobble was still there when you applied the foot brake so unlikely that its the wheel bearing. Its most likely steering related. If you have changed the track rod ends what did the swivels feel like, both the same ?

Not yet going to try and do it Thursday, been working, will let you know how I get on. Still heard nothing from pressbrake regarding steering rod. Would have liked to have done it all in one go then can put steering guard back on and get back on the road.

All me other bits turned up today so when this rain stops I can start fitting me goodies :)
So to do list is
Fit new props and tranny out put bearings
New wheel bearings all four corners and hd drive flanges
Rock sliders
Crystal lamps and hids
centre cubby box
X eng electric fan switch
Stainless steel wing vents

So not to much to do as long as this bloody rain will give over, I'm itching to get started:D

Jon invoice for hd wide angle was 238 bit expensive I know as you can get them cheaper but the is a proper bailey one and gwyn stocks plenty of ujs for em

You got enough there to keep busy for a while!! I managed to get both dprops now, paid £125 & £150 but they are cheaper ones, they come from my own supplier and not online though so if they break I will hand them straight back, I have been assured they are good so lets see, I will carry my standard ones in the back for a while just in case.

Hopefully everyone will be ready for some lanes soon, I just need to fit my front prop and im ready again, I replaced my back window with some perspex I found, its not great but I need to support the swing away a bit more before I do it 100%, its good for now though. I have got a new gearbox to rebuild at some point as well but im in no rush for that.

Oh yeah, I got my vinyl plotter up and running again so if anyone wants some stickers let me know, I was gonna sticker up mine but can't think of anything!!

Well my props are fitted and me rumblings have gone :);):D well chuffed especially as I was going to buy an even dearer double cardon, but gwyn would not sell me it, well done that man saved me a few bob.
So time to fit the rest of me goodies when this rain backs off.
Jon how about Essex mud monkeys stickers?
Must admit I'm not keen one the one life stickers as they have been done to death, although the one you saw nick did make me chuckle.
