Battery wise, I brought of these recently as my main battery was fubar.

Thats the same battery as my 2nd, its ideal for either starting or winch battery as its got a massive CCA on it. I use an Optima redtop for my starting battery, they are about £200 but an AA dude diagnosed (incorrectly) a customers car and they paid out under warranty for a new one so I had the old one

Jon don't worry about getting the bits, turns out I had a split charge on the landy when I bought it, and removed as I did not know what it was, here's a pic of the relay that was in the batt box


Its a 180amp relay so I'm going to wire it all back in cheers for the advise though

Ian if you need it i have a spare battery you can borrow to sort out split charger.

Cheers geof I've got a spare batt in me shed that I put on charge last night so will test with that then get a new one

Lol, yeah ok, that may of happened... I have seen since on a post on here somewhere that there is a log that was put in that side to stop the 4x4's using that side... thats why you couldn't get through...

Just before you snapped your prop

Good progress today moved the battery around and now I've got room for another in the batt box under passenger seat, wired in the split charge and winch solenoid which I have moved up to the inner wing and sealed it so its water proof, extended the wires on the connector for the winch control plug, just got to fit the connector somewhere where have you guys put yours? Am thinking of putting it on the cab or should I put it somewhere else

Mines in the cab next to the rear wiper but need to sort out my switches sometime. I also have a remote as well.

Plugged a td5 in for someone today and they said they're selling it. Just what I'm after so have made him an offer. He just needs to let the wife approve and then I might have a fender!!!
