All done, engines in, up and running, all went without a hitch, started on the button, ran up perfect!! Even managed to wire up an electric fan so hopefully no more overheating weekends!! The temp gauge isn't working so I shall sort that but otherwise im ready to get muddy again!!

Ohj and stu has gone out and got himself a Pejaro SWB so he will be coming on the 30th with us in his own truck...

No posts for 4 days !!!!!

the thread nearly fell off the first page :D

I cant find the source of my steering knock, its just as you rock the wheel side to side. Thought it was the lower column but changed it and it wasnt. Seems to be coming from the main column so more investigation needed.

That's cos some of us have been in the Essex Mud Monkey's thread, planning our "wild camping" now on a camp site trip.

Got me winch bumper finished today all painted up and looking good:D but I'm gonna make yas wait till tomorrow for pictures when it's all bolted up ;)

Good stuff, hope you made it nice and strong, when i first used mine i was a bit worried it was gonna pull the bumper apart!!

I just got me a tent, not quite as cool but £19 from tescos, bargain. Its kinda gutting tho, im use to camper vans, not tents! Im gonna have to save up for a syncro camper i think...

Nice one. Look forward to seeing it.

I've finally brought a winch, but it won't be going on until I've made / brought and fitted:

Wiring kit
Winch to bumper bolts
Split battery charging system
Second battery
Refurbed my winch bumper
Up rated front springs

As promised here's some pics, got it all mounted but the heavens opened so I'll have to wire up another day
