Engine swap in 2 days

I'm no pro on engine conversions, but it'll work.
I gave 200 and summat for everything I needed of the donor disco so I spose I didnt do bad, it took me a while to find it tho, and I had to go a far ways to get it.
If the 110 is a 200tdi it'll go, you'd have to ask someone here tho if a c reg deffy will be a 200tdi or not, Im not sure if the tdi was out then, that might be an n/a.
Edit: looking at this recent thread Id say the C reger is a 2.5td not a 200tdi, I'm sure everyone will agree with me when I say stick to a 200tdi.

it'll fit but ideally you need to be looking for a 200Tdi rather than the 2.5TD which is almost certainly the engine currently fitted to the 110

but if the 110s in reasonable condition why not buy the entire vehicle and get that up and running
 
I'm 21, live at home with my parents, I have 2 Saab 9000s out on the street, my Series 3 on the driveway my dad hand built whilst my parents car lives out on the street :p So couldn't really justify getting a whole other vehicle



Any of you got a 200tdi to sell? :)

its come out of a 90, its complete i think, it has been advertised in a local motor factors window this week, the guy asked me if i wanted it , will pm you his phone number if you want, can call in tomorrow morning :)

tell yer what , ring him and try him for £125 or £150 max yer might be lucky , i presume its been lifted out complete, from a 90

yer spoke to him ?

its not thru work as such , but my its my mates shop and he asked if he could help sell it for him .
 
Well as my defender engine deal fell through I thinks i will be needing a drive across to Stafford soon if you don't move fast Ad ;)

Nah its orite mate, sure he was just trying his luck. I tell you what tho, at this rate it is seeming cheaper to go for a pug 2.5 TD engine out of an LDV
 
well **** him next time. i'v got a note to call him bout some other bits, dunt think il bother with him now, :(

ldv's are a favorite swap int they , even the 12j
 
Thats the Perkins engine isn't it?

As I've got the modified mounts and bell housing adaptor plate for the pug engine (XD2) atleast I've still got the option of going for 3 different engines; 200 tdi, standard engine (not going to happen!) and the pug engine
