Bumper extensions and the long clips got the same treatment but did the clips with cold galvanize spray.

You can buy them new from britpart but pricey when you consider how cheap their tailgate/bonnet struts are.Have checked the cubby box strut and no mine has obviously run out of puff too cos it dont lift the lid at all when you push the button.
You will have to keep looking sorry

I'll probably scour the pipes up and heat resistant paint them

Put a length off steel rod down the egr and welded it in, Duchess needs clean air. Replaced all the leak off pipes and the oil filter. There was a copper washer in the oil filter 'O' ring bag? Suspect it's for the sump plug? But I already replaced that.View attachment 249504 View attachment 249505
Ahhhh.....I see.Copper washer on the sump bolt and another smaller one on the filter lid bolt if you have the ally lid.
Can't you search?Have a search for gas struts on tinterweb there are plenty that do them from the size and probably alot cheaper than putting the "Range Rover" name to it.

All you needed to do was remove the vacuum pipe from the EGR actuator then plug the rubber pipe with a screw. You can then reconnect just for the MOT in case of need.Put a length off steel rod down the egr and welded it in, Duchess needs clean air. Replaced all the leak off pipes and the oil filter. Because there are people that want to sell EGR blockers that are not needed. Not sure about the UK, but you could have MOT problems.Oh
Why do people say put a penny coin in there then?
Feck it, done it now
