I'll nip out and have a press, see if mine move, I've got cruise.I have the two buttons moulded in to the stalk. They dont press in and I don’t have mpg on dash or cruise control
mine's a diesel and has the two buttons,if you press the wrong one you set the speed alarm,sh1t myself when it won't off the first time as I inadvertently set it for 30mph.
Best thing pal saves her complaining.I was being gentle!
I'm that gentle I can make love to the wife without waking her up.
Don't you just hate those owner manualsYay! They work.
20.1 mpg aroond toon...
I know..I know..Don't you just hate those owner manuals
If you replace the stalk with one that has the buttons that operate, you will get MPG, range remaining etc. The only caveat is that if you have a Lo line BECM it may not work, it certainly works on the Hi line BECM.I have the two buttons moulded in to the stalk. A stalk from a breaker costs little and it's a straight swap, the connector is there behind the plastics.Initially I thought I should have a low line becm, but I have things that a hi line one is needed for? Either it’s a hi line one or quite a bit has been bodged in somehow
Okay dokey.
I've got the recommended handcock battery and the earth lead just reaches but the nasty landy clamp won't clamp very well. If I cut it off there won't be enough cable left to fit another better one, I've got a couple of ideas but wondering what others have done?
?
It's fine now, a bit of a fiddle but it's been sweet for 3 ? Years now.Can you source another length of cable ? And a new clamp ?
