Looks just the same as the ones you get in Aldi just a different name, and most of the stuff from there seems quite good.:crazy_driver:

I have a wolf compressor, I think mines a 90 litre, is yours 50? Makes so many jobs so much easier than they used to be.

Yeah it is the 50... it will be very handy I hope.... My original purchase was a 24 Clarke, but this had more CFM and double the size tank....

Well due to the good weather and having some time this weekend I've got back to it. Managed to weld a patch in to the n/s rear arch and also use the spot blaster to get in to the tight corners. As the little grit bag it came with runs out really quickly I cut a bit of spare hose and jammed it straight in to the bag of kiln dried sand. It takes some time and I got covered in sand, which while sweating in the sun is not the easiest of things to wipe off!!! ....
However the end result is not to bad....

Cleaned up pretty good, used a flappy wheel for the bits I could get to then used the spot blaster. I'm happy with this although there are one or two patches left I will fertan it and that will sort them.

Still got a little more to do on this but was running out of day so thought I'd pic it... Will do some more tom....

Last but not least heres the new patch you can see this is what it looked like before....

So to its more cleaning I'm hoping by the end of the weekend to be able to start getting some primer on. Then next week its order time :D I'll be ordering a raft of the new bits for the suspension and rear body.....

SO didn't quite manage to get the primer on but got everything clean and painted with fertan. The Stallion stopped by for a quick look and had his £%$lander with him which was great... On the road again.. So next will be the rear body mounts, cleaning the floor cross members, axle and suspension parts that I've removed. Its hard not to get bogged down thinking about how much is still left to d ..... Anyone else ever feel that???.... Anyway I'll keep updating the photos etc even though progress is a little glacial at this time, hoping its worth it at the end....

I feel like mine hasn't moved on for weeks yet I have been doing loads to it, and it's still a shell, will see what this week brings. Yours is looking great, grit blasting came out good I am impressed

Thanks mate, yeah because its just a small tool designed for 'spot blasting' it takes a while. However it does take the majority of bits of, I'm getting in where I can with the flappy disk. Hopefully the middle part of the chassis won't be quite so fiddly.... but I'm not thinking about that yet... much.... :D

Also, stutab, just noticed this but... Is your location really where you live? or is it your porn name?? Or your american TV cop name?? .....

Deep Disco..... Starring: Nash Mills...

just focus on 1 part at a time... it can get depressing thinking about how much there is!

This has been my approach, dealing with each area left wing, right wing, passenger sill etc as a separate project. Makes the job seem smaller.

Keep the faith fella it will be worth it

Yeah totally.. It'll be easier once she is back on the road I can do bits and pieces but still enjoy going out... Cheers mate...
