I've got nothing but would love to see some before, during and after shots of said incident ;)

Ooppps:eek::(
The cost of fun. I guess the lake wasn’t as frozen as first thought.:(:mad:

Sure you could sort the panels with a hammer:) they don’t look too bad from this angle.

He was trying to cross the lake at Tong pay and play but the lake was frozen so he decided to use the Defender as an ice breaker :D. There is video and more pics but they aren’t mine so you will have to look in our Facebook group

What you can’t see is it took all 4 of his light bars. Even the one on the roof. Don’t know how the windscreen survived. He was kind of lucky. It cut through his snorkel and he only just got it out before water stopped his engine

Just saw the video. Thats quite impressive! and VERY lucky. Could have easily cracked the rad and windscreen. Im shocked the Intercooler held out given the state of it in the pics.

Borderline miracle the engine didnt suck in water from either the snorkel or the intercooler!

Note to self - Stay out of frozen lakes ....

He did break the radiator and intercooler and loads of other stuff. The list is just what he hasn’t managed to source yet
