To be honest, It does look like a bit of a mash up, I don't think it started as a Hicap
I can't work out why but it does look strange to me, where are the defender nerds when you need them

For some bizzare reason beyond my understanding they're busy trying to post this on as many threads as possible....
I would love to see how anyone can justify this being classed as historic. Land Rover High Capacity Pickup LPG, Auto, 3.5 V8, Tax Exempt | eBay

Would that be a pic of an incident Ratty swears is a figment of our imagination?Yes......

What?......THIS pic?
Its 100" and others have noticed the rangie rear x member.Even if it was a hybrid (and there is no way in hell that it is) it should still be on a Q plate but there is no way that is 100"
I counted the rivets on my Series3 diesel. I think it has one missing, can anyone tell me how many there should be before I apply for a Q-plate?
Series three works like this.
Multiply the wheel base by 3 and divide by the last three digits of the engine number. Carefully measure the front bumper length in inches and multiply your previous answer by this figure. You should now have a figure which will be the number of rivits in your vehicle when it left the factory
