That certainly doesn't look galvanised! Agree with what has already been said, looks solid enough - good clean and rub down and get some paint on there......go for a grey colour and you can spot rust coming through easier later on.

Galvo chassis do not stay impervious to rust forever though - if you have one bare, do paint it. Road salt is the worst offender for eating through the coating.
