I've finally fitted my EGR bypass kit! I must have had it sitting in my garage since October last year! Looking about, I've got a steering guard and a spotlight kit to fit which I've had for about 2 years and not fitted!

Does anyone else buy stuff and not fit it, or is it just me?

So it's just the 3 of us then!

Intercooler still in shed and will remain there until after new rear air bags are fitted.

EGR finally fitted after 2 months in shed and well worth it. De-cat pipe took and age and also well worth it.

I am guilty I have a few bits in the garage:

A frame ball joint
Window regulator
Polybush kit
Extended brake hoses
Replacement injectors
Front & rear roof lights fitted but need wiring up
New trim clips for door panels need fitting
Electric cooling fan to replace viscous one

Think thats about it

Got some heated seat pads to go in the seats for winter and never got around to fitting them, and there's no chance now until next winter .

I have new 110 callpers and vented discs to fit on the 90, was supposed to go on yellow TDI now going on blue TD5 , had them 4 months , also replacement door locks, various bushes and other odds and ends , although I left the brakes on yellow a little long, material went, pad backing ground disc to a fag paper size until pistons popped out of calliper and all brakes lost ........ might not leave them 2 months after they scrape next time.........

I reckon with a chassis and bulkhead i could build a whole new defender with the stuff i have!

Got ARB's fitted to my defender and all the wiring in place, just need a pump but I'm balls to the wall with work and doing up my house! :(

its worse when you buy something and you find out after you already have one you just havent fitted it

Bought but never fitted...

Pair of genuine side steps for D2
Wheel centre badges for D2
Driver arm rest for D2
Seat switch buttons for D2
New headlamp washer for D1
Wood dash trim kit for P38
Rebel Diff guard for Defender
Rad muff for Defender

..and probably more, it was all left in the ex's garage when I moved out in December!

Trading it at LZ10 for coffee & burgers did cross my mind but the ex is being difficult because she's a complete bitch... ahem, sorry I meant because I missed my 'collect by' date but if I can I will - the side steps have no brackets though.

I was thinking more along the lines of wheel bearings, bushes, washer jets ect things you forget..... How do you do this with mach5s?

my thinking aswell wish I had the space to lose a set of wheels, I can only just get the truck on my drive and even then I haven't got the space round it to wash it

the more space you have the more stuff you will accumulate, im now going to sort out my garage as i cant get to the 90 through gearboxs and other land rover parts

Yeah I know about space and stuff. Got interior bodykit wheels etc etc in the loft for my cars the truck stuff is a bit bulky to get through the loft hatch so ive built a shed out of dexian racking and corragated steel for storage but no doubt my garden will still look like a breakers yard lol

Got 2 garages, 1 is attached to a property about 15 miles away and i hadn't been able to get there for over a year so forgot about them. I also found a load of mini parts i didn't remember i had.

Thats the thing right there, too much space to lose stuff in.

I have just finished fitting new rear disks and pads! There was an advisory from my MoT ages ago about the worn disks; I bought a set immediately but that was in December! I've got to say that the car brakes so much better, that I shall now get a set for the front!

I wonder what I'm doing in September cos that's probably when they'll get fitted!
