All welded up and ready for a lick of CIO basecoat. I had them weld in a bar at the rear too so I can choose to mount my lights where ever, also adds a little strength

Dropped off the landy for the AC to be checked/repaired depending on whats wrong with it.... Hope its an easy fix!!
Soon as I get it back straight onto fitting the slotted discs! Hopefully be done by 7pm
Bad news from the AC check. New condensor needed (no shock really as mines rotten) leaking heavily from both seals and missing 60% of the cores.
£350 supply and fit a new one aint bad at all imo!
Ouch , bet I will also have to replace mine, are u getting an allisport
Condenser and new dryer for mine is £80
Allisport dont make AC condensors as much as I ask them
Three coats of coarse FXLiner and its on!

Fitted with x2 M12s bolted through and will be fitted with x2 M10s and a rivnut (youd need very bendy child hands to get in there otherwise!) Should hold it enough.
Got the slotted front discs fitted aswell, pretty basic job took about an hour per side.
Splitting the disc from the hub

Drifted on with my new rawhide hammer (for work actually but perfect for this!)

Good trick a mate taught me when torqueing up discs, makes it a very simple job. Added some high strength loctit for good measure.

Got rid of the awful "mud guards" all ive gound they do is trap ****, score the discs and make a god awful noise. Skip for them. Cleaned up the area a touch, also noticed a bit of play in the swivel bearings dropped two shims and all gone

All in all rather succesful day! now for the damn annoying part...
New calipers
New discs
Two different sets of pads - Brembo & Ferrodo
New pad fitting kit
Special brake grease
THEY STILL SQUEAK!!
So im going to fit new rear pads and fitting kit and hope for the best. If not then i guess ill be driven insane
So,
Did you put the discs on the right way for the slots to work?
Cheers
That is tight! lol it was loosened again after I found play in the swivels but I'll double check now! Thanks
Hi mate
They should stop u and looks good mate , test is in the pudding so to speak ,
Have u tried ceramic brake grease , lol
should look better with a few spots and the winch fitted.
Make sure you have enough space to fit the lights and the winch, iirc we covered this before..
Will look better with the winch fitted. You going rope or wire?
Cheers
