Any Classic gurus in North Yorkshire?

Hello all.

As per previous posts, my wipers aren't working. Found the fuse - that's fine.
Tried removing the access panel to the motor (see if power is getting there), and I couldn't get it off for toffee.
So I thought, I'll bleed the brakes one last time (replaced 3 brake lines). Put the pressure bleeder on at 10psi, ANOTHER brake line started leaking.
Then spotted a N/S engine mount which is in dire need of replacement.

Anyway, to the point, are there any specialists/experts/kind folk who like Carlsberg who are in a position to lend a hand (willing to pay, obviously).
I feel like I need someone who is experienced with the Classic to help me and give me a kick up the arse to get it finished.

Currently have the headlining out of it, material stripped and board cleaned, new material in my garage waiting to go on. I'm going to try and sort that this weekend as the interior looks shiiiiiiiiit at the minute.

where in north yorks are you ? you'll need a hoist at least to do the engine mount

access panel should come off easy enough but its far easier to stick a multimeter on the feed wires and see if power is going in and if it is but it isn't working your motors goosed or the earth is......earth being far easier to clean up and put onto fresh metal to test

What's wrong with Bitter? You have some of the best breweries in Britain where you live. Timothy Tailors, Theakstons, Black Sheep and York to name but a few. I do like my proper beer, not that virgins water stuff.

I find virgins water to be a little tangy and smell slightly of Herrings.

Hi mate.

I have access to a pit and pit jack at work, so the engine mount shouldn't be a huge problem.
It looks like top mounting bolt for the bracket is going to be a pain to access due to the N/S exhaust manifold.

Do you mean check for power leaving the switch?
