tried turning the crank as you wiggle it around... don't know what else to suggest..... try harder?
I'm doing most of it on my own and asked a couple of guys to help me try and get the engine on the box - but it just isn't happening.
Thought i'd ask here to see if i'm doing something wrong???
Is transmission in nutral? did you do the reinforced clutch fork?
I haven't got anyone that can give me a hand as they are all at work when the place is open. They are shut now til monday so my defender is sat there with 2 engines infront of it.schoolboy error.
no no no you get BB down to wiggle fook outta it with youget some threaded bar same size as studs cut to about 6"and screw into bottom 3 or 4 bell housing bolt holes. This allows ya to slide the Gear box in dead straight and properly lined up.
Yes in neutral and there is already a HD clutch arm fitted with 5mm plate welded across the pivot point. Is transmission in nutral? did you do the reinforced clutch fork?
WTF has his clutch fork gotta do with not getting the gearbox lined up with the engine???
no no no you get BB down to wiggle fook outta it with you
