The problem is that the sympom occurs only while driving under load which means a continuity check would not help much stationary, unfortunately that's a kind of fault when the sensor must be ruled out first cos chasing some wiring issue wihout that is feckless
Is there any point in simply disconnecting this sensor and then driving with it like that to see if the symptoms are the same or similar? I know that I accidentally left mine disconnected for a while and it became obvious there was a problem straight away. Soon as i cleaned it and reconnected it the difference was huge.

That makes sense mate before I commit to the price of a new one I’m picking a know working one up Monday to try, tomorrow I will try to clean my old one tomorrow, thanks gents I will keep you updated on my progress, but let’s not forget I have a fully functioning ACE system :)))))))
If you are finding it is slow to pick up then runs OK, it may well just be dirty. I have got my fingers crossed for you on this.

That's a good test for the sensor, then we'll know... i hope you primed well the ACE pump

In this particular case the problem being intermittent disconnecting it will no rule out anything also on the default for MAP/IAT open circuit the engine runs like sh*t, without any power, it's not like with the MAF at all

Re the last part of this, I know as I've done it! Accidentally! let's hope the clean and/or the exchange with a known good one will rule it out or rule it in!

Oh yeah dude ace pump was primed and she’s running like a dream, do none of us landy lovers sleep haha

Blimey mate I can never sleep when I’ve got things to think about, got a oil change to do on my v8 tomorrow it’s only done 600’miles since last change 6 months ago you can tell lockdown has got me bored
Boredom often results in insommnia, also work tires you out. Since retiring I find I need less sleep unless I do a lot of physical work.

For me it's simpler: i can never sleep... period
First thing I do is make sure there is no clock or watch that I can read easily in the middle of the night, that way I don't look at it when I wake up and go "Oh sh!t is that all the time is?" I just wake up, then try to go back to sleep. If I do need to be up for anything I set an alarm as usual on a clock whose face I cannot see cos it has its back to me.
Just a thought.

Little up date guys, oil seems to have found its way into the plug by climbing up the wiring “,
Oil was all inside the connector, I’ve cleaned it up just waiting for the contact cleaner to dry and then will plug her in and take it for a spin

Do you mean in the ECU red plug?
Noo the plug for the temp sensor we discussed last night,,, I’ve cleaned it with contact cleaner took it for a run and its fine ! The readings are all normal now and not fluctuating and all,
So no more lack of power :) I’ll
Just keep and eye on it and clean it as required

I'm glad it was a cheap fix after all. Seems that you are the man with uncommon issues
Well i now have a another problem for you haha,
Last week I changed my discs pads and calipers, I’ve since bled the system 3 times, when the car is not running the pedal is hard and dosent go down when pressed very much, when the car is running I can hold my foot on the pedal with medium pressure wand it sinks down to the floor ? Any ideas mate
