Looks like you've hit rock bottom there!!! :p

Grooooaaaannn :doh::rolleyes:

Abandoned the list of things to do as the sun was shining so I carried on painting today

Have to say that MDF doesn't make ideal external spacers...

But I'm nearly there with the first coat :)

With a bit of luck the latest panels won't get rained on before they dry

looks a million times better.

Could you put you numberplate on the brackets above the wwindscreen?

also what you going to do about those spacers?

Numberplate might go up top when I do the front panel. I'll make up an oak spacer I think. There's one on one of the back doors chamfered nicely and I'll do one to match. Don't need them on the sides, with the spacers on the doors it's clear of the body when clipped back anyway so they've just been discarded.

That's better was embarrassed to be seen drinking me coffee in it before :D :bolt:

You int getting in the site office again! Yous kin drink yer coffee in the rain instead :mad::rolleyes:

Took the 2a to work today cause I needed the winch and nato hook fer the Sankey....guess I should be thinking about swapping them over anorl

Managed to sneak in the new window locks and a bulkhead vent seal between jobs but kinda regreted it cause I ended up loading the Sankey full of rocks in the dark

What are the rocks for?

G/F has decided she wants a dry stone retaining wall in her garden......she has fantasies of doing it herself

This is not the sort of fantasy that turns me on

Anyway......spent lunchtime swearing at Pikey until we managed to get the worklight off. Took it off because...

a) It was mounted on the top of the safari roof
b) It wasn't wired up
c) It was half full of water

Still in good nick though and seeing as it's a nice old Lucas metal and glass jobbie it'll probably go back on.....below the roof line.

Finished painting the front after work, just her arse and roof to do now. Put the 2a grill on cause I hate them bloody plastic things and it had been painted black and then white....badly. Moved the number plate up top while I was at it then lack of light stopped play,

i once gave it a go in wales drystone walling at a cottage that was renovated, i found it pretty bloody hard work.

That front looks waaay better with that grill dude

Like most things it's a knack, difficult to teach ( done that anorl ) cause you need to 'get yer eye in'

The grill feels like a bit of a cheat but yep, I much prefer it
