Help me save my 2004 TD6 Vogue!

Hi guys!!

I really need your help, I have a 2004 TD6 Vogue which i love more than my husband.... yesterday she made a very loud clunking noise when i accelerated... so much so i thought the exhaust had blown or fallen off or something... until i realized she made this noise every time i accelerated.... I managed to limp her back into my drive but now she wont go into reverse.... my dad says she's totaled... my husband says shes not worth repairing... Please help me prove them wrong and get my girl back on the road... any assistance is massively appreciated. If i need to add more info please let me know what... Thanks guys Gem

would that be she doesn't go into reverse or she doesn't reverse

Buddy of mine had one and the front diff was subject to a recall and replace or modify

She wont reverse.

She goes into reverse and feels like she's going to but then doesn't budge.
