Hi guys
Have recently purchased a 2011 4.4 tdv8 vogue se, very nice car tbh.
It has started to give me some pretty interesting faults this last few days, driving along and the sat nav will turn off, closely followed by the radio, sometimes the windows will not go up or down, the seats will only move in small increments, the indicators work but do not male the noise or show on the dash, also, more worryingly if you turn it off it will not recognise the smart key ( to start, or to lock unlock).
I have a gap is tool and the codes are mostly medium speed can faults or no communication with BCM faults.
I have checked some connections, there does not seem to have been any water ingress to the n/s/r or the fuse box under the n/s dash.
My assumption is that I have either got a module going down intermittently or possibly the med speed can wire has a short, any suggestions as to wher to start looking or anyone had same or similar problems they’ve dealt with in the past??
Thanks for looking and apologies for the long post. It really could have been much longer
Sean
