Thanks. Sorry I'm crap at explaining.
I shud have took a picture. Where I took the propshaft off at the front in the section that's still on the car (not propshaft) there's like this concave bit that has what looks like a clip over something . In all that area it's dead dry so wondered did that need grease before I put propshaft back on.
Also when I remove that 30mm nut so I can get at the captive propshaft bolts is oil gona pour out ? I was just reading about lt230 replacements and they mention draining transfer box oil and all that jazz.
I'll be getting in over my head if that's the case
