I was joking. Not many cars are better than the P38 for long distance travel. At 24 to 30mpg I use mine for everything apart from trips to Brico Depot and the Dechetterie. The savings from having a car with better economy are offset by the low overall running costs of a P38 IMO. A twit in modern plastic shed ran into the back of mine yesterday, not a mark on the P38, the plastic shed looked a bit worse for wear.

After checking out meaning of "dechetterie", I think we should rename our "Recycling Centres" to: "De****tery". Succinct, easily understood and will save on signwriting!
