Hello, first post.

Driving home tonight, all going well until about 10 minutes from home.

Brake pedal went sold, pulled over passenger brake smoking, other brakes hot but not as bad. This is after about 20 minutes of normal driving.

Now brake pedal remains sold and she won’t move as if the breaks have all locked on completely.
Previous to this no brake problems, rear pads and discs done a couple months ago.

Has anyone had anything like this happen before or have any suggestions? Any help appreciated.

She is currently roadside, hoping to somehow get her home tomorrow afternoon.

I once came across something similar on a car. After sitting a while they eased enough to get home. The car was OK locally and I blamed the servo initially but It took a while to find that the new pads were too tight in the calipers. On a longer run with a bit of heat they seized up, presumably heated the fluid and pressurised the whole system. I filed the pad backings which cured the issue.

Worth opening a bleed nipple or 2 to see if there is pressure in the system. About the only thing common to all 4 wheels. Master cylinder seized?

Good luck.
