P38 2001 4.6 100k - The EAS system has been giving me some worries recently -I have replaced all four bags (leak on rear) and rebuilt valve block and compressor - system works well with no dropping down over night and from access mode she is up to correct hight within 15 secs so all seems fine...

I too had same problem on a late 2001 4.6 - check your little red light flashes when you press button - put key in drivers door and press and hold down lock button - still holding lock button turn key anti-clockwise to lock door but hold it there for at least a slow count to 10 - you should hear...

Thank you for the idea that the storage side could be at fault will check tank and pipework just in case :)

Please some advise - but I must let you know actions taken thus far - some weeks ago the EAS pump seemed to be working overtime but not going into fault - suspected leak but could find none - bags looked to be original so started at that point and changed out the four of them for new Dunlops...

Hi Druim The air duct was not going to come easy without a fight - cutting the unit out gives fair access and duck tape after worked wounders but agree with you 100% spent more time reseaching than doing the task :rolleyes:

Having checked the thread jamesblake suggested(many thanks for pointing in right direction) it seems not too hard but getting spare bits is good insurance - stainless must be correct way to go
