P38 2001 4.6 100k - The EAS system has been giving me some worries recently -I have replaced all four bags (leak on rear) and rebuilt valve block and compressor - system works well with no dropping down over night and from access mode she is up to correct hight within 15 secs so all seems fine -I have also checked for leaks and can not find any - also checked that compressor works as per the sticky by Wammers - I know what you are thinking as you read this - so what is the problem
-the compressors seems to run a lot (yes the mounts could do with being replaced ) it has been suggested that a height sensor could be at fault but she moves up and down just fine without hunting for height - the reason it was suggested was that after braking and she may be nose down a little she returns to level ( I throught this correct action) - I do not wish to swap out bits for the sake of it -I have not fitted a gauges to see pressure (next purchase) but would value feed back - to compound matters laptop has given up ghost so can not use EAS softwear at the moment :doh: I will order from Symlise on ebay the guage & new mounts (to be safe a new liner and piston seal - always handy to have spare) any throughts on the height sensors and how these manifest themselves as faults would help
