Please some advise - but I must let you know actions taken thus far - some weeks ago the EAS pump seemed to be working overtime but not going into fault - suspected leak but could find none - bags looked to be original so started at that point and changed out the four of them for new Dunlops (she is a 2001 4.6 witn no LPG)- as good measure also replaced piston seal & cylinder - result all worked fine BUT pump still cutting in and out frequently- checked again for leaks but none - over night or a few days between use she stays up with no dropping . Today have rebuilt valve block (no seal was showing any damage except being flat) and run up all ok except cutting in and out very frequently i.e. get up to height then compressor runs on for 5 - 10 sec cuts out but then cuts back in 30 seconds later - my only thought is has the pressure switch lost it hysteresis ( has this happened to anyone and how common a fault is it) - this will be my next part to change out and I will add in a guage to see the pressure after that I supose it could be the drive pack - any advise would be appreciated

I would definatly suggest the pressure switch, the thing does fail and has been well documented on here....

Are you absolutly sure you don't have a leak on the storage side??

It is easy to get the diaphram valve seal the wrong way round apparently, so double check.....remove the Exhaust Filter, and see if you can feelor soapy water check any air escaping from there as this may indicate a dodgy Diaphram seal....

Also check the exhaust filter for signs of White dust, as this could indicate the air dryer breaking down sending crap into the valve seats to prevent them from seating correctly.

Adding a pressure gauge into the Purple Storage line will help to see if the storage side has a leak and also to see when the pump cuts in and out.

The set point for the Pressure switch is quite fine - In at 110psi and out at 130 psi (or something - no doubt I will be corrected on that)

The drive pack I believe has nothing to do with the pressure switch, although a dodgy drive pack will indicate a Pressure switch failure on Diagnostic - even though the pressure switch doesn't go via the drive pack....
