Where is the crank sensor located trying to Google it with no joy

No engine light on ...... No codes .... No faults showing up ...... just lasts around 10 to 15 mins then engine light comes on and cuts out

Does this sensor control the temp gauge as I have changed sensor and gauge is now dead or could it just be a simple wire has moved

Well !!the symptoms are it runs for around 15 mins then engine light comes on . I've searched hand seems to be the temp sensor playing up BUT where is it located on a 02 4.6 vogue se many thanks

Right it conked out no warning just died I'm thinking know volts in battery as plugged in hand battery shows 11 volts plus turned it over twice hand completely dead 02 4.6 vogue se thanks for any answers
