Oh it only miss fires when driving not when idling

A little update with new problem! Changed plugs and fuel filter car started after filter. Started miss firing while driving so went to scrappy got new leads still missfiring and very hard to drive!!

Yeah I know how fiddly it is. I will be going to get plugs soon so will get them changed and if still no joy will change the filter. If still no joy after that then I have no idea. Matches and a soaked rag come to mind. But just frustrated!!!

Ok I will try and check the fuel rate with a Bottle and see how much I get.

How do I check the valve timing?

I was driving along the road when I lost power. Got the car started then when tries to accelerate car died. I took the fuel line off the fuel rail and the petrol is pumping out not sure of the pressure as I don't have anything to check with or how to check with out a gauge.

Does the fuel pressure switch have a diophram in it? If that is it then yeah I had a look it is not moving at all when I blow/ suck on it as I have been told that it should. I am really at a loss as what to do next.

Sorry it is a 52 plate the pump is under the rear seats I never blead the system as I was told it will sort its self out. Yeah checked the switch it is ok. I have since had the fuel line off where it enters the rail and drained a lot of petrol out the line.
