Thanks for that that's what I did to get them out, that was about 6 months ago, was on the M6 last night hit the brakes and the front wheel locked solid, the bottom caliper bold had come out and the caliper jammed into the wheel, they were tight when I put the new ones in with loctight!

How desperate are you? I live about 1 1/2 hours away could come up at a push. When I did mine I spent hours scratching my head after reading all the posts in here, cut out the 10mm re welded the brackets back on only to find the rad was 10mm to low, measure the rad first!

Can't you use your old housing, that's what I did and renewed the crank oil seal at the same time.

Thanks to you all for the advice, got the bitch off in the end, 5 hours of swearing and cursing, broken chisels ect. just to let you know it was rust **** crap on the splines, all back together with loads of copper slip so it will all come apart when my new calipers arrive, they were knackered...
