not quite sure what you're asking - are you fitting a new cd changer to your existing head unit & want to know where to route the cable ? - what is your head unit, is it the R990 ? on the 'Hi-Line' system (factory fitted cd changer & power amlpifier) the cable goes from the back of the head...

nah - when you've been on here a bit longer you'll realise that 'Gaylander' is a term of affection used to describe ALL freelanders - generally used by Series & Defender owners who are jealous of the freelanders outstanding off road capabilities :rolleyes::rolleyes:;)

yep - the ebay ones are fine -get the one that includes the longer bolts to replace the ones you take out & make sure you give the old bolts a good soaking of WD40 for a few days before you try to remove them. you'll also find the plate easier to fit if you remove the heat shield from above the...

sound normal - you have to remember it's a big old 2.5 diesel lump & it takes a while to get up to temp - only really noticed it the last week or so - its only a 3 mile drive to work & my old petrol vectra used to be blasting out hot air after the first mile :) but my TD5 is only just getting...

don't know about the 200 series but the seats on my TD5 disco have a 20amp fuse for the seat heaters, 40amp for the electric motors & 3amp for the lumbar support pump & solenoid. have copied the electric circuit diagrams as well don't know if any of this is of any use

you probably know this - the air suspension filter is located behind the left hand light cluster (No. 2 on diagram)- the cluster should be watertight - but it's only a 2 minute job to unscrew the cluster & see if any waters got in through there - worth putting some sealant around the cluster...

presumably you're talkin about 9000 euros - bout £6200 don't know about prices over in spain but over here for £6200 you could get an early (99 to 2001) TD5 with about 80K to 100K on the clock, so if prices are higher over there you're prob better looking for a late Tdi. - over here £5 k to...
