What did you do with your Range Rover today

Nearly finished fitting the aftermarket exhaust ie center box and rear boxes. Darn thing is the bad fit, it takes the rear right hand pipes close-ish to the rear right air bag. The exhaust that came off was spot on! They haven't got the bend right to go round the spare wheel box. But have...

    Propshaft sliders which way round?

Just watched a Utube video on fitting some aftermarket propshafts to a heavily modded Defender. The point made was that the slider of each propshaft should be to the front of the car. So on a P38 the rear propshaft slider would be close to the transfer gearbox flange and at the front the...

EAS - My tale of woe.

I would love a heated steering wheel in a P38 as often driving in Scandinavia in winter! Yes it's a good idea to carry some emergency inflation valves, I still do, I used to offer these commercially years ago until some ba...s copied my system and even, to rub wounds in, copied my instruction...

    Rattle - driveshaft?

Does sound like a flex plate, hope its not but would advise you get it checked out before driving the car. When mine went the toque converter moved forward and its bolts were all that enabled the car to move. A few more miles and untold damage !

Wanted LWB Series - swap for 97 4.6 HSE daily driver

Had over the last few years several (5) various P38/Classic Range Rovers with mostly engine probs, all too expensive to repair for road use, never spent more than £300 on any and sometimes much less. Latest offer is a 2.5 diesel offered £500 as its a good runner just waiting. For the money you...

Which Fault did your Range Rover Throw at you Today?

It's Spring and everyone is having small bonfires to clean up the garden, bet you went through the smoke of one stinky. Used to be a brickworks along the old A1 and that gave off a deadful smoke, you could see cars down the road with their bonnets up thinking their cars burning up!
