    yes they do fit, but defenders have a wire strap with different fixings as a support rather than a chain so bear that in mind

    mine is in it's lightest form right now, i.e. no cappings floor or lights etc and it's a real pain to lift, the weight is just about ok but actually manoeuvring it to a position where i can take the full weight is hard, i wouldn't want to try a fully laden on, especially if it's a first time...

    there's been some great sunny days, just get out early and set it all sit in the sun, i've not had any problems so far. really been enjoying the painting part of things

    got a little more done. most of the painting is nearly finished, still have the outside of the tub and the bulkhead to do, then once the gearbox and clutch is done i can start to rebuild cleaned up the inner wings got a bit of hammerite in couldn't resist piling the bits on...

    bit more done this last week despite the weather got the props off to look them over and clean up. front in good nick, struggled to get the joints out, and separate the two ends rear was too far gone, dust seal has seized on and grease is grimey and gritty will replace Cleaned the yolks...

    cheers, i think i can see how it works, i have one brass ring attached to black wire, looks like it replaces the lock washer thing behind the steering wheel bolt, can't make sense of how the live wire goes on though will keep looking

    maybe given that they're not really a visible part, just making your own from box steel bits wouldn't be too bad a solution, otherwise just look out on eBay for a new bonnet, they don't go for too much
