    Replacing leaf springs

they sell defenders for that. rocky mountain parabolics are recommended as good off road use, so worth considering. I've fitted them on mine, but haven't finished the other jobs yet so haven't tried them out.

    Body Panels

i would expect it to be aluminium, will most likely be bare, some parts i got had plastic wrap on so worth giving it a good clean before paint

i would be interested, do you need the measurements, or the bolt pattern? how much would you need for a rear one to fit the 4 bolts and another for the front bumper with a backing plate? cheers

1975 series 3 rebuild ongoing (lots of photos)

i think i bought those last year, they'll be at the bottom of my parts pile, it's a really specific seal i need for the upper tailgate, mine was rotten and split and i'd rather refit a proper part than bodge it see this thread...

These look great, Could you make one to fit a series back end? and is it sensible to try and fit on on top a drop-plate? i think i'd also be interested one for the front bumper, could you supply a backing plate to match? cheers

1975 series 3 rebuild ongoing (lots of photos)

looks hopeful, they have this part door seals, rubber seals, rubber extrusions, window rubbers by seals direct it doesn't like like the one that i took off but it has a similar profile. I'm going to try and ask them if it's supposed to be for that use

bit more of an update, slow progress right now, gearbox is still out, i'm not stripping it, but it's turning free and inspection of the inside seems good. will sort the flywheel housing and then get that back on in the next few weeks. most of the jobs have been painting while the weather's...

    Electric fire! New loom?

does anyone have direct experience with the new looms from autosparks? i'm rewiring the back chassis harness myself, but i don't want to take on the engine bay and i don't like the look of the old harness. i like the idea of buying a new one and having all the add-ons i want like 12v socket...

    SWB re-chassis

shouldn't be much at the right place. i didnt mean to say they matched 150 individual bolts, just a few single ones at 25/50 each. generally it's not too important if you're just attaching body and trim, but it is nice to have them match up

    SWB re-chassis

Unless you're worried about things being fully restored it doesn't really matter. there's a few specific bolts that matter like ones with captive plates but generally you're just looking for something the same size to join the body panels. on mine, i just kept a single bolt of each type i...
