You might as well bite the bullet and get the tools for the job that you haven,t got. They are pretty bog-standard ones and owning a Landie you WILL be needing them again at some point

Good set of croppers will go straight through that for sure. Sad to say my spare resides inside the vehicle nowadays ;)

Fitted new rear wheel cylinders and copper pipes from the 3 way splitter to the cylinders yesterday and bled them up for ages and ages but I,m still not getting any pedal.the previous **** that owned it ran the old girl just on the front brakes after he stripped the threads in both rear...

New rear brake cylinders and a pipe and cut a bit of chequer plate ready to hide a nasty bit on the rear tub :o

Its absolutely shagged on both ends on its top edge so it,ll take a lot of doing to be honest.The tin worm has really taken hold :( Plus I haven,t got a welder :rolleyes:

Might have the chance to do a deal for my series 3 against a 300tdi Disco 1 :D But I,m not really familiar with such new-fangled machines so I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas about what to look for with the Disco other than the usual boot floor/arches corrosion, smoking...
