Made the front ns windscreen pillar bit today for the role cage. Quite a complicated bit as you've got a get all the angles right to flow with the car. Going to try to get some of the middle roof bars done now

Done a bit more work on the role cage. Finished the D hoop for the B piller and 2 connecting bars to the rear section. Slow progress but will be worth it when it's all done.

Fuel pump bolts not tight maybe. Easy one to check.

Did u turn it over twice by hand first to check no valves are going to hit

Is there more play up and down in the front diff flange than the rears diff. That what happened when my pinion bearing went. Best to buy a second hand one cus there more complicated to rebuild than u think.

Hi am working on my mates 300 TDI again. I'm trying to replace the bearing for the fan on the time in case. When I tried to pull the flange off the bearing it snapped in three places. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement Bearing and flange at a reasonable price

Taken the rear part of the role cage off to give it a lick of red oxide. Can't wait in till I get more pipe so I can carry on.
