attacked my handbrake yesterday to find there was no need for the new shoes as the current ones have plenty of meat and are clean and dry. the fitting kit was wrong and it still sticks on. thinking its a crud filled linkage from cable to the rod so now need to get that cleaned up.

Dry fitted drivers seat ready for bolting in, loads of leg room and very comfy:)

New rear coil springs today..
why is it that the first one took 2 3/4 hours and the second just 45 minutes.......
probably because its easier to put your jack between that long arm thing and the body and separate them as far as they will go, (brake hose permitting).
don't need to compress the new springs as much......

checked diff and transfer bx oil levels. getting a clunky grind like a skip lorry trying to find reverse but it's only occasionally when dipping the clutch to roll to a stop. any ideas as I am really confused

Finished making the OTT towing bar out of some 50 mm box section, some 10mm plates and some big welds. Ready for next week when I have my weekly breakdown in my reliable discovery lol

Stripped the glass and seals out my hand painted ( seals an all) truck cab.

Painted it marine blue to match truck.

Figers crossed for decent weather this weekend , get the tub finished and bolted down so i can get the windscreen and cab bolted on and my neighbours will start to believe i am actually building a truck and not just a mess

Taken the rear part of the role cage off to give it a lick of red oxide. Can't wait in till I get more pipe so I can carry on.
