i dont know if its an M.O.T fail/advisory if the dash triangle does not light up,but i would also not bother with it as long as all the indicators flash when on.

try fastening the seat belt,it should go off,the hazard warning light does flash in time with the indicators.

hi mate you can see the brake pads without taking the wheel off with a torch or lamp. the pistons inside the caliper will be a bugger to free up,might be best getting a decent 2nd hand one,but new ones are about 38 quid from adventure 4x4 morley.:).

i put redex in the tank 2/3 times a year,it seems to be ok, my old disco 300tdi i used to put a couple of litres of petrol in with a full tank of diesel,the petrol cleaned the injectors & i could always feel the difference in power & running.

bloke in his 90 got stuck in a field with a trailer full of logs, he came to our caravan & asked me if i could tow it out, i went down with my 300tdi disco & parked where the ground was firmer,i then walked the best route i could find to get near to him, i told him to unhook the trailer then...

looks good as it is,just dont jump up n down on the seat it will tend to hurt your head,but not your purse,well done.:rolleyes:.

yes i did the same sealed solid,no wet seats or carpets to dry out,recommended.

its a reddish colour when fresh & new,hard to tell when its been in too long,like you say mucky coffee.

yes open the sunroof,there are two drain holes near the glass seal rubber at the front,these were blocked up with crud,i poked them out,the two drainage tubes are inside the front windscreen pillars,as stated by another member the drain tubes go about halfway down the windscreen pillars,anyroad...

also they can block up with leaves & such at this time of year,i used a thin piece of picture hanging cable to poke out the crap lodged in them.

agree been there done that cost me a lot of money, its a harsh way to go about it,i found that out with my first ever landy 20 odd year ago.:eek:.

after new alternator put on,gave it a good run today it sounds pretty good after being laid up a few weeks.:).
