    Mine has no handle at all...You can just about pull the cable with your fingers but it can be tight. I have also used a small pair of pliers. My handle has actually gone inside the foam somehow and I cant get it out.

    I fully blame the 'recovery experts'. Is it me or were those crazy yanks pulling that thing in completely the wrong direction. i.e further into the mud and or obstruction. It seems blatantly obvious that the recovery of that vehicle should have been mounted from the opposite 'dry' 'mud free'...

    adjust roof aerial

    I have removed mine and replaced it with a 'small one from ebay'. £9.99 including postage..available in diff colours...black is good. I do say though...it isnt quite as good with weaker signals but more than good enough for national stations and good strenght locals.

    Brakes

    My brakes (1.8 petrol 03 5door) sounded like metal on metal. New MOT...no advisory etc. Some 'geezer' said yer..ya pads are knackered mate and ya discs dont look too good. So, I changed them...new discs...new pads. OK the discs werent fabulous, but the pads didnt seem to be very old at all...
