Waterproofing freelander

can anyone give me advice on what needs waterproofing and whats the best ways to do it. Its the 1.8 petrol 99reg

take the doors off in advance of them falling off?

why does everyone keep saying that the bloody doors will fall off.

I must have an extremely rare one in that case as mine have been wet plenty of times yet strangely are still secured to the vehicle

The engine has a similar problem in that it wont hold water.

This might be a question to ask of the MAD Freelander Club. Some of them have heavily modified petrol Freelanders.
