compomotive rrc disco defender wheels tyres

Are these still for sale, I am wondering if the offset will suit my 110. Are they 7j width?

    Buying defender with 2" lift

Not necessarily stiffer as this depends on the spring rates not height. Reduced length of travel is the only certainty.

    Replacing Stromberg carbs for SU

Never really thought about it since I got the 110 V8 but I know it has a return. I had SUs in the past (single on minis and twin on my midget) and they do have a float chamber that cuts the fuel pump.

    Ninety Steering Wheel

Received and fitted my wheel as linked above. XRIZLAX was right to highlight that the 9cm dish plus the long boss brings it much closer to the body and actually very high, but I have maneuvered in the driveway and I am actually really enjoying the new position. I can now bring my knees...

    Ninety Steering Wheel

That's good insight, not skinny or have short arms, but I do recall the long boss makes the indicator stalk further away. I am getting one of these so will find out soon: LEATHER STEERING WHEEL & BOSS KIT FIT LAND ROVER DEFENDER 90 110 130 200 300 TDI | eBay

    SP Land Rover's door kits

Its says its a full kit, which implies you don't need the capping. I guess with no capping it preserves the 90/110 smooth door (no capping) look. Not sure how tempted I am - it says more elbow room inside the cabin but that's mostly because there is no door trim I think.

    Ninety Steering Wheel

I am going to replace my steering wheel - just been outside and confirmed I am 36 spline. I want to increase the knee room as much as poss, so will aim for a 13" wheel, but I am just wondering if anyone has gone for a deep dish steering wheel?, I did this in my previous car and it was really...

    spare wheel location

Mine is in the shed. 6 months and no flats yet. I would call a mobile tyre fitter I use, he has visited my home and place of work. Or go home and get the spare in the back of my other landrover. I If I was offloading of course I see the need for it, but on road a flat is such an unusual event I...

What have you done to your Landie today.

Looked at it again. Thought about how little I want to trace the issue with indicators. Wondered why my tame mechanic hasn't called to suggest I bring it in. Considered using the blue one, but its now full of junk for a boot sale my wife will probably never attend.

What have you done to your Landie today.

V8 carb 110 - keeping it simple, indicators packed up. Tried hazard, worked once. Suspect fuses but caused by rain ingress. Parked it up as I don't have time. Can anyone with rear wiper tell me where the switch normally is... can't find it on either of my 110s.

What have you done to your Landie today.

Thought I had better start the 200tdi 110 as I haven't used it or moved it since July ish. Connected the battery and it fired immediately. Remarkable! I took it for a drive, and as the fuel gauge doesn't work and I have only filled it once since buying it, I had no idea how much was in it. Only...

    Engine Change Cost

I wonder if the 4.6 could be persuaded to run on the carbs off the 3.5.

What have you done to your Landie today.

Carpet doesn't seem to want to stick to the noisekiller in the footwell sides and upper overhang. Just pulled it off and threw it in the back.

What have you done on your Defender today?

Started the V8 to drive to work but let the revs drop and it conked out. Would not start again - guess I flooded it ; "hashtag" retro motoring
