What have you done to your Landie today.

I like the concept! I have removed the spare wheel from the rear door, and removed the wheel carrier bracket from the door. Now it sounds like a door when I swing it shut and hopefully wont make that awful squeaking sound while driving along. Also ordered 5 22mm grommets to fill the holes...

    Defender 110 wiper problems

if you lift the wipers off the screen do they still only turn 90° (indicating weak motor) or do they turn the full amount. To be honest, I am not sure how far mine sweep. Will check tonight.

hard top custom wheel arch boxes for seats?

In my opinion you would be too high on the seat box as the seat bases are taller than the old bench seats, and too low on the floor, plus there isn't much room between the seat boxes. Best thing is to get an old car seat and try it. The pics of the puma conversions I saw had a cut out then a...

hard top custom wheel arch boxes for seats?

Just search for "puma seats" you get a stack of threads to read through. My project is approaching completion. I am having a new chassis so access is good. We cut the tub, put in a footwell and folded some new metal to form seat boxes to fit 2 defender front seats behind the driver and...

6ft 2" how do you get in?

I tried this today and initially my left foot kicks up the edge of the carpet and sound proofing so I need to lift it slightly higher than is natural for me. To address this I plan to do high knee lifts while watching tv in the evenings. The seat is an inch too high to casually slide my arise...

    1992 110 csw

I bought this beauty off a forum member as I lost patience waiting for my other project which is in for a chassis change. I might only keep it until that is ready, but I am happy to document faults here so as not to deceive potential buyers. It needs a few improvements so I will track them...
