Mine leaked everywhere, pain in the as . window, gutter. door seal , bulkhead skuttle. inner wing etc. Found talcum powder with water hose a great help..

I had one of them and it was a money pit, had 80k year 06 Replaced clutch, air suspension compressor ,heater egr, handbrake. pre heater. luckily I had bought warranty . But beautiful car to drive .Since sold it and back to my D1 300tdi .

Suggest changing pulley over , otherwise you will have to get other size belt also .

My 95 D1 is proving much more reliable than my D3. I tow 3 tons weight hundreds of miles several times a year. Never misses a beat but I service it properly too.

Is it ACTUALLY hot ? Can you check engine water temp other than temp gauge.Is there a Voltage stabilizer on disco 300tdi ?

Get the volt tester and wiring diagram out and start tracing. dont forget hazard switch also.

For what it costs try Tiger seal and get in under the window rubber seal with it . I spent hours with a hose pipe on window rubber only to eventually discover it was the gutter basin or what ever its called on bulkhead at air inlet. A good covering with wax oil sorted it for good .A damp...
