    hang on james we may have a little crossed wire here with these bore tolerances in my manual it shows the piston held tight one side of the bore and feeler gauge held down opposite side so my 10.5 thou will read at 5.25 thou either side

    thats whats confusing me ..........there aint any backlash at all now the new bush is in but the timing tool is set so far back its gonna leave no room to retard the fuel pump if i need to for the timing tool and pump marking to be in its right place it looks like the flywheel will be more...

    yeah exactly that bottom of piston at top of bore opposing the gudgeon pin and checked from underneith at 10mm intervals all the way down the bore with no discrepancies on all 4 pistons and bores ;)

    2 pieces of threaded bar or bolts that fit the holes in the injector with a nut threaded on it under the injector wing sat against a couple of hefty coins like a 10p or similar and then wind the nut up the threaded bar or bolt to lift the injector while you shock them loose with a rubber mallet...

    yes it does by about err......well ......the thickness of a cigarette butt ...errmm roughly 8 mm but turns a little as it lifts ( on the gear teeth ) :confused:

    how de yer mean an assembly just the skew gear and stubby shaft or does that include the split collar that the skew gear sits into wich ever way how much do yer want for whatever you got :cool::cool:

    if its only the shim or the collar it sits in i will but if its that friggin helicoil gear on the little shaft with the female spline inside it im well and truely fooked as thats a job for a dedicated gear cutting machine and i aint forking out £9 - £12 grand fer one of them buggers and theyre...
